In Memory of Philip Savarese – GCR Founding Broker 1953-2021
After earning a B.S. in engineering from NJIT and spending a decade in the corporate world, the New York City-born entrepreneur relocated to Long Beach Island to pursue his passions for real estate and sport fishing. As the founder and CEO of GCR Greater Coastal Realty, Inc. and Coastal Associates, Inc., Phil has been brokering and developing New Jersey real estate since 1985. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him!
Phil played a significant role in assisting the Restaino’s in finding a vacation home back in 1994, representing Frank's parents in their purchase in Beach Haven West. Fast forward 30 years to 2024, GCR and Restaino Realty have joined forces. The merger of these two real estate families feels like destiny fulfilled. Restaino Realty will continue to conduct real estate services at the location formerly known as GCR, situated at 703 Mill Creek Road, Suite B in Manahawkin, NJ. Restaino Realty will strive to honor the legacy Phil left behind.
